My daughter is fully in the “I do it myself!” phase, and most mornings that used to mean a stuck arm, a shirt on backwards, and a meltdown (sometimes mine). Lily & Spruce changed that for us.
The neckband has real stretch, so it slides over her head without catching, and the sleeves are easy for her to find on her own. The organic cotton is so soft and flexible that pulling on pants doesn’t turn into a wrestling match. She gets dressed, comes out beaming, and I get to just say “look at you!” instead of stepping in to fix things.
They’ve also held up beautifully through months of wear, and the prints are a big part of why she wants to wear them in the first place. Her favorite is the pumpkins.
If you have an independent little dresser, these are worth it. Fewer battles, more proud moments.
